"People
usually consider walking
on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not
to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day
we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue
sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child --
our own two eyes. All is a miracle."
- Thich Nhat Hanh Loving Tributes from Wisteria's Sisters I was asleep last night when I woke up as I felt a presense in the room with me. At first I thought it was Ora Lee, but as I opened my eyes it was Wisteria. He smiled his big cheesey grin at me and waved excitedly to me. A feeling of joy and happiness came over me. I smiled at him and he was gone. I knew what had happened. An half hour later Ora Lee came into the room and told me about his passing and I smiled again. Wisteria had come to say goodbye. --Sister Atopa (February 8, 2008) Life is a journey. Some people you meet along that journey just add such beauty and light in their own special way. My darling Wisteria, you are one of those people. From the moment I first met you, I saw that light in you. Your eyes smile, even when you think you’re being so serious. You radiate warmth and joy, and I treasure your friendship and sisterhood. I consider myself most fortunate to have had our journeys cross. The first steps taken when we're young are celebrated so The next steps into childhood play are signs that we can grow Assertive steps to growing up show others what we know Then steps we take beside our friends help newborn love to show Then life's short steps turn into strides as down the path we go Our arms reach out along the path to friends that we love so Then strides return to careful steps as late life breezes blow Those steps will lead to but one path When once we know it's time to go Wisteria, we love you so Glittery hugs --Sister Leavia Lafin ![]() --Brother Bimbo del Doppio Senso
