In the small city of Fruitland, Maryland, two women arranged to have a child. Having been secretly married on a trip to Europe, Shawanna and Honey Childe were well along in the family way when news came that Honey had been accepted as a Senate page in Washington  DC.  The news was so exciting, in fact, Honey dropped her water right then and there and gave birth to two lovely daughters Julia and Raisa. The senator for whom Honey would be working forced the women to give the two girls up for adoption or he would expose their sinful union and the children would be forcibly removed. Tearfully, Honey and Shawanna agreed. Both girls were adopted by nice families in Arizona. Raisa was adopted by a lovely couple who were German immigrants. Little Julia was taken in by a deeply religious family from Gilbert, Harry and Luna Sees . Not wanting to have their lovely new child bear any of the stigma of being from such "questionable" lineage, they changed her name to Farma. Farma was quite the precocious child, always far more at home with those older than her. She often sat in on her mother's quilting bees, soaking in all the gossip the church ladies had to offer. In her teens, Farma developed much quicker than the other girls and was very popular with the boys. Though she tried to fit in with the other girls, jealousy made her a marked target, and she was ostracized from the cheer squad, pom line, and even the flag line didn't want the statuesque beauty outshining them. Farama frequently walked the strets alone, hoping to find a friend. On one such walk, she came upon a woman who told her she could make a lot of money if she just applied herself. The next thing she knew, she and the woman were being hauled away in a police cruiser. When her parents came to pick her up, Farma tried to explain she had no idea that the woman was of "questionable character" and was just talking to her, but Harry and Luna would not hear it. Luna hung her head saying 'you just can't get the ghetto out of the bloodline.' Harry and Luna cast Farma out, telling her she could ask her new dirty friends for help. For two years, Farma tried finding work, and finally landed a cabaret job. Not wanting to be associated with the vile Sees any longer, she changed her name to FarmaSue Tickle. She worked the cabaret circuit for a few years, but deeply missed having a family to go home to. Downtrodden and depressed, Farma decided to raise her own spirits by playing a game of bingo at a local watering hole. Sitting in the bar with her friends, Farma was drawn to two shiny objects in the bar – one was a slender beauty, named Raisa Brau, the other was a shiny nun. Striking up a conversation with the lithe girl, she discovered that she too had been adopted around the same time she was, and was from a little town in Maryland. Both girls squealed with delight when they discovered that FarmaSue was none other than little Julia for whom Raisa had been searching! Curious and a bit annoyed by all the noise, the shiny nun came over to quiet the girls down. When Raisa and FarmaSue told her the story, tears welled up in Sister Honey’s eyes – these were her long-lost little girls! Sister Honey brought the girls to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence…the rest is history in the making.
